Teresa Gargiullo
President
Teresa has been a board member since 2018 and passion in life is being a part of finding solutions to human struggles. She believes in a holistic and dignified approach when assisting our homeless population. With community support and action together we can make extraordinary strides in our efforts. Her favorite event is our drive for the kids back to school supplies, as she feels it is so important to set a positive tone for our children's education.
Jennifer Davis
Vice President
Jennifer is the Executive Assistant to the CFO of a national company. Committed to making my world a better place by volunteering and supporting many non-profit organizations committed to making their communities safer, healthier and kinder. Bonnie Grey Lynch
Treasurer
Bonnie has been a board member since 2003 when the organization was the Friends of Broward Outreach. In 2012 when we changed our name to The Friends of Broward Homeless, Bonnie became the treasurer and holds that position to this day. For years we had an annual Halloween fundraiser, those events are my all-time favorites
Suzanne Hazelroth
Secretary
Suzanne has been a resident of Hollywood, FL since 1992. She is President of Sullivan; Associates Sales servicing the building and construction industry. She has been involved with homeless initiatives within Broward County since 2002 and serves as a board member of the Friends of Broward Homeless since its inception in 2013.
Beth Tobin
Member, Past President
Beth has been a board member for over 25 years, since Leadership Hollywood 23. She has served in different roles and is liaison to Broward Outreach Center. Beth is a business owner in Hollywood since 1996 and got involved in BOC soon after that. She is a business owner and CEO of a promotional products, marketing, and advertising company specializing in nonprofits, fund raising, and golf promotions and utilizes her vast network to continue supporting other local nonprofits such as Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies.
Mindy Belmonti
Member
Mindy has a desire to help others that are less fortunate than her. Proudly born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, she is a mother, daughter, wife and friend to many. She has spent her career working in customer service for a major airline. When she and her husband moved to South Florida in 2019, they were surprised at the tremendous homeless problem in the city. In addition to working with The Friends of The Broward Homeless, she is a certified volunteer at the Broward Outreach Center, as well as a volunteer for our HOA. Having been blessed with good health and great people in my life, she feels it is imperative that we all band together and bring homelessness in South Florida to an end.
Mara Berman Giulianti

Mara is the former Mayor of Hollywood for 20 years and a life-long staunch supporter of giving focused and dynamic assistance to people who are currently, or in jeopardy of becoming, homeless or hungry.
Marta Prado
Member
Marta is a long-time Floridian committed to helping communities become healthier, stronger, and more generous. She healthcare professional and has been involved in all aspects of patient care as both a Resident Nurse (RN) and an Advanced RN Practioner. She’s currently the Chief Strategy Officer for ProHealth Select, a Company specializing in Population Health programs for multiple Health Plans. She is also an active volunteer at Second Chance Society and other service organizations in Broward County.
Shelly Spivack
Correspondence Secretary
Shelly is an attorney, owning her own firm Shelly Spivack & Associates in Hollywood. She’s been in Hollywood years and is dedicated to breaking the cycle the homelessness in her community.
